Went for a bike ride today to Springbank Park. The main event of the day was a pair of red-tailed hawks courting and nest building. It was pretty neat to watch!
After this one flew towards us, I realized it was landing in a big tree pretty close to where we were.
Then a little while later we saw this and it wasn't until I got the pictures on here that I realized what s/he had in it's beak!
A big piece of grass!!
We then went for a ride to Fanshawe Dam to see if the eagles were out. They weren't, but I really liked this shot of the dam!
