Eagle Hunting at Fanshawe Lake

Out we went again today. This time for a walk at Fanshawe Lake - a conservation area just outside of London. Most of the ice is gone - the lake was beautiful..

Then, all of a sudden, we had a visitor. If my camera had been working properly, these would have been even better, but I have to say I'm pretty happy!!

That's not something you get to see everyday, and lord knows I'm out there almost every day trying!!

This guy (could be a girl I guess) also paid us a visit - more like we scared him out of his spot!

These were all taken in a very marshy section of the lake shore - Even though it was c-c-cold out - the wind was brutal, I'm so glad we went as it will be impossible to get there for the rest of the year!

And on the way out,

Hoping to get to Long Point to get some pictures of migrating birds tomorrow - I'll be sure to let you know!!
