Finally! Made it out to Long Point today to see some of the migrating birds. I'm a little frustrated as I religiously check birding lists and see people's birding reports, but every time I try and find these spots, it seems as though you need to have the person with you to find the spots where they actually see them. We did have a great day though, here are some of my favourites...

Some Canada geese that are actually shy and not begging for handouts in a park!
A Bufflehead - maybe I'll get one close up sometime!
A Northern Flicker - not the best shot in the world, but it's the first time I've seen/ photographed one, so it was exciting for me!
